THE MAGIC OF THE HORSE® performance, is a unique equestrian variety performance, created and produced by former Olympic Team Member and International horse trainer Tanya Larrigan 

   For the last seven years Tanya has wanted to bring her dream to life, but for various reasons it couldn't happen. Having seen other equestrian  productions at home and abroad, she  felt that there was a space in the entertainment world for hers.

The idea was to present a show with a difference. That included other leading performers and trainers whom she had met on her travels, creating total variety, also including some of her own displays.  Just as important was that the show must be of such a standard that other equestrians would want to see it, also that it should appeal to those who simply want to see the horses dance!!   

Last year, checking that the artists had a space in their diaries and that the venue was available she decided the time was right to start the ball rolling.  

As well as carrying on with her other work and training some new displays for the M.O.T.H. (the shows working name), getting everything arranged such adverts and the P.R.  Tanya felt that she had enough on her plate. So she brought a professional production company on board, who will take care of the lighting, the sound and setting up the rigging to take the lights and getting all the drapes up that are needed to dress the indoor arena. Staging it in such an arena makes it harder to set the right impression but not impossible - just some imagination from the producer!

    THE MAGIC OF THE HORSE® performance does not tell a story, it is Tanya’s dream brought to life by over 35 horses of all sizes, breeds and colours, including the famous ‘Mini Marvels®’ miniature horse long reining display team.  

The M.O.T.H team will come from many parts of the country to perform their special show for you, each one is different,  some are leading competitive combinations, others such as the Mini Marvels do a lot of charity work and their displays world wide. 

In The Magic of the Horse®, we are sharing with you a part of our world, celebrating the friendship, the partnership, the trust and the joy that horses bring into our lives.
